Trainee Caseworker 

This is an exciting opportunity to earn while you learn at a busy Citizens Advice Service in Stockton-on-Tees. The Caseworker Training Programme is for up to 2 years, and will provide extensive opportunities for training and legal work with clients on a range of welfare law subjects. 

The programme will include: 

-      completion of NACAB (National Association of Citizens Advice Bureaux) Adviser Certificate Programme 

-      completion of Specialist Caseworker Training at AQS standard in at least one of the following subject areas (Community Care, Employment, Welfare Benefits, Housing 

-      experience of managing a personal caseload in one of the above subject areas 

Full training, support and regular supervision will be provided. 

Applicants must have a degree in Law, Health or Social Care or another related subject area. 

Full time post - 37 hrs pw 

Starting Salary - £23,893 pa
